Physiotherapy FAQs
-
Virtual physiotherapy for runners focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating injuries, pain, or mobility issues that may arise from running. We’ll use video consultations to perform a remote assessment and we’ll work together to create a rehab plan tailored to your needs.
-
During a session, we’ll discuss your injury, pain, or mobility concerns. I’ll guide you through specific movement tests or exercises to assess your condition. Based on this information, I’ll provide you with a customized rehabilitation or injury prevention plan, which may include stretches, strengthening exercises, and movement corrections that you can do at home.
-

3 months. Running goals often require consistent training over a long period of time in order to see results. I want to ensure we have enough time to properly build your training and my priority is doing this in a way that will reduce injury risk. For some race distances you may benefit from a longer training plan (i.e. 4-6 months). This is something we will discuss in more detail during your initial consult.
